Neil Angus was elected the Member for Forest Hill at the November 2010 Victorian State election.
Neil his wife Andrea and their four children are long time residents of Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
Graduating with his HSC at Carey Grammar School in 1978, Neil gained a Bachelor of Business in accounting from Swinburn Institute of Technology and in 1983 became a registered tax agent.
After working for a large accounting firm following university, Neil joined another city accounting business and in 1991 was made a partner. As a chartered accountant, Neil has spent two decades supporting small business operators to grow their business, and understands the importance of a strong small business sector to the social and economic viability of local communities.
Neil is a volunteer member of local organisations including being a board member of CityLife Church (Knox) and is a long-standing member and current school council chairman of Waverley Christian College. He is also a member of the Eley Park Community Association and the Whitehorse Community Chest.
